Nancy A. Arnold

Nancy A. Arnold, a lifelong Canton resident, passed away peacefully at Altercare of Louisville on Thursday, February 27, 2025. She was 85. She was born in Canton on January 15, 1940 to parents Thomas and Mildred (Hughes) Preda. They precede her in death, as well as her daughter, Janice Arnold; son, Robert Arnold; and brother Thomas "Jake" Preda.

Cherishing the memories and moments are those who survive; sons, Jeffrey Arnold, Patrick Arnold (Tiffany Jodon); grandchildren, Alesha (Johnny) Cantrell, Lindsay and Cameron Arnold; great-granddaughter, Lelia Cantrell; sister, Janice Mehaffie; special nieces and cousins; and former husband and friend, Lee (Marianne) Arnold.

A 1958 graduate of McKinley High School, Nancy, a dependable employee, worked for Portage Electric for many years. She was a member of Christ the Servant Parish and the McKinley Eagles Lodge 2370. She was known to be spunky, embracing life's unpredictability with grace and humor. Full of energy, she was an inspiration to many and her zest for life would brighten any room.

Visitation for family and friends will take place on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, Lamiell Funeral Home, 1353 Cleveland Avenue, NW, where the service will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Father Daniel Finnerty will be officiating. Interment will take place at a later date.
