Nancy May Blind, age 89, died Wednesday. Born in Palmetto, Florida, she lived in Canton most of her life. She worked with her husband at Kirby Carts Track and the worked at Heggy's Candy until her retirement. She was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church and a former member of the Basilica of Saint John the Baptist. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Blind, sisters, Virginia Girton and Betty Jo Riley and brothers, Joseph, Edward and Don Poirrier. Survived by her sister, June (Gary) Jones, brother, Ray (Annette) Poirrier, many nieces and nephews including a special niece, Kamie Wilson and special daughter, Mary Koah. Family and friends may call Monday from 10-11 a.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Very Rev. Canon Christopher Henyk as celebrant. Burial will be in Saint John Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Little Flower Catholic Church.
