Nancy Jean Hagmaier

NANCY JEAN HAGMAIER

Nancy Jean Hagmaier, passed away on May 21, 2023. She was 86. Born on August 5, 1936 in Kent, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Arlene (Thomas) Cooper. Also preceding her in death was her son, James Briggs; daughters, Laurene Murray and Juanita Briggs; and sister, Darlie Sawyer.

She enjoyed cake decorating, puzzles, taking pictures, traveling, and baking. Nancy lived a wonderful life as a mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and dedicated employee for the Hoover Company.

Most of all she loved her family and will be deeply missed and forever in the hearts of those who survive; daughter, Sherry Briggs of Canton; grandson, Steve Murray; brother, Don (Dorothy) Cooper of Carrollton; and three nieces and two nephews.

The family is grateful and extends a special thank you to Kathy Yoder.
