Norman E. Hartline

Norman E. Hartline, age 83, died Friday after a long illness. He was a life resident of the Akron/Canton area, graduate of University of Akron, retired vice president of operations at Miller Transfer, member of NCRC Hawks and a United States Army veteran. Survived by his children, Cindy Ray of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Duane Hartline of Akron, Duane (Cindy) Stewart of Marion, North Carolina and Douglas (Sally) Hartline of Jackson Township, caregiver and former wife, Carol Hartline of Canton, nine grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Friends may call Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 11-1 p.m. followed by services at 1 p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home with Reverend John Telloni officiating. Private entombment will be in the North Lawn Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
