O. Lee Thomas, Jr.

O. Lee Thomas Jr., 85, died Saturday, November 27, 2021. He was a life resident of Canton, 1955 graduate of Lincoln High School, was the Small Business Coordinator for Adult Education for the Canton City Schools and sold insurance, member of the Basilica of Saint John the Baptist and the North Canton Eagles and a U.S. Army veteran. Preceded in death by his wife Camilla Thomas and parents, O. Lee Thomas and Mozelle Iodine. Survive by his daughter, Victoria (Michael) Sterkel of Chesterland, sons, Lee, Mark (Sherri) and Paul (Tina) Thomas all of Canton, grandchildren, Tyler Thomas and Bobby, Sally, Molly and Missy Sterkel and a brother, John Thomas of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Friends may call Tuesday, December 21st from 10-11 a.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home followed by a service at 11 a.m. with the Very Reverend John Sheridan STL-Rector officiating. Burial will be in Saint John Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
