Patricia A, Allensworth

Patricia A. Allensworth, age 81, died Wednesday after a long illness. Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, she had lived in Canton most of her life. She had worked with her husband in the family business and had volunteered at Mercy Medical Center in the Pastoral Care Department. Survived by her husband of 51 years, John G. Allensworth, daughter, Lisa Weber, sons, David DeRosen and John "Gil" Allensworth II, daughter-in-law, Cynthia Allensworth, grandchildren, Katherine, Jacob and John Allensworth III, sister, Gwynne (Patrick) Burke and a brother, William Willhammer. Preceded in death by her son, Michael Allensworth. Friends may call Saturday from 2-4 p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home.
