Patrick E. Anderson

Patrick E. Anderson, age 82, died Monday after a long illness. He was a life resident of the Canton area, 1953 graduate of Central Catholic High School, retired in 1994 from the East Ohio Gas Company after 39 years of service and was a member of Saint Peter Catholic Church. Survived by his wife, Joanne (Harbert) Anderson, daughters, Michelle (Richard) Chastain of Hilliard and Cynthia (Christopher) Booth of Canton, son, Michael Anderson of Akron, grandchildren, Matthew and Jon Chastain and Lauren and Andrew Booth, great-grandchild due in Spring 2018, sisters, Rosalie Yerian of Canton and Susan Jo Hoppee of Oregon, and brothers, James Anderson of Massillon, Jeffry Anderson of Virginia and Donald Anderson of North Canton. Preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Martha Anderson, sister, Margaret Charnock and brother, Thomas Anderson. Family and friends will meet on Thursday at 10 a.m. at Saint Peter Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial with Father John Sheridan, STL as celebrant. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Boys Town or Saint Peter Catholic Church.
