Paul Joseph Miller, age 93, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2026, surrounded by his family. Born on June 6, 1932, in Navarre, Ohio, Paul made his home in Canton for most of his life.
Paul was a gifted carpenter, a talented builder, and a dependable handyman whose craftsmanship could be seen in countless homes and projects throughout the community. He had a way of turning even the smallest repair into something meaningful, often forming lasting friendships with those he helped. His work was steady, honest, and done with a level of care that reflected who he was at his core.
He retired from Thomas Miller Construction after 30 years of dedicated service, leaving behind a reputation for excellence, reliability, and a work ethic shaped by pride in a job well done.
Paul was a member of Little Flower Catholic Parish and will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. His family was everything to him and he cherished the moments spent with them.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Viola; his cherished wife of 68 years, Barbara; daughter and son‑in‑law, Dianne and Tim Behringer; daughter‑in‑law, Dianne; and brothers, Walter and Gene.
He is survived by his daughter, Darlene (Donnie) of Canton; sons, Dale of Murphy, North Carolina, Duane of Akron, and Daniel (Lori) of North Canton; four grandchildren; and four great‑grandchildren, all of whom will forever carry his memory with love.
Family and friends are invited to visitation on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Lamiell Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Little Flower Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
