Paul A. Knis

Paul A. Knis, age 59, died Wednesday after a two year illness. He was a life resident of Canton, 1980 graduate of Timken High School, had worked most recently at Kuttler Machine Inc. and was a member of Slovak Catholic Sokol, Knights of Columbus Council No. 4733 and FCSLA Life. Survived by his sisters, Sue Ann (Jack) Seich, Andrea (Steve) Kosunick, brother, James (Michele) Knis, eight nieces and nephews, 20 great nieces and nephews and "sis", Barb Streb. Preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Irene Knis, twin brother, Peter Knis and special friend Sadie Roshong. The family would like to thank the staffs at Altercare of Nobles Pond and the Canton Regency Assisted Living for their care. Family and friends will meet on Monday at 3 p.m. at Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial with Father Benson Okpara as celebrant. Private burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 3-5 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 4:30 p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the National Adrenal Diseases Foundation.
