Paul Venditti, age 85, of North Canton, went home to be with the Lord July 1st after a very short illness. Born Middlebranch Ohio, June 1932. Lifetime resident of the Canton area. He was a graduate of Hoover High School; an Arborist; Journeyman Millwright; Certified Welder; aircraft mechanic; Hoover retiree (30 years); past president of his local AARP chapter and North Canton Eagles REAC organization; antique tractor collector; big band music enthusiast; USAF Veteran; Korean war veteran; member of Sampson AFB Veterans Association; beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather; and much more. Paul was preceded in death by wife Nancy Em of 43 years; parents, Sante and Madeline; daughter Vicki Wittmer; sisters Caroline Gwizdale, Rose Harrison, Mary Lou Perry; brothers Frank and Anthony; and grandson Michael Minor. Paul is survived by his daughter Judee (Josh) Krom of Tennessee; son Paul (Jr.) "Chip" (Diane) of Massillon; son-in-law Dan Wittmer of Hartville; three grandchildren, Steve, Nicholas, Matthew; six great-grandchildren, Stevie Joe, Michael, Jadyn, Jake, Katelynn, Alexander; sister Josephine Christensen; brother Richard and many other family and friends. Calling hours Friday, July 7 from 9:30 – 11:30 AM followed immediately by an 11:30 service at Church of the Lakes UMC, Canton with Pastor Bryan George officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Paul's name to the charity of your choice.
