Paulette Jeanne Beasley passed away the evening of April 19, 2021 in Portland, Oregon after a long and courageous battle with brain cancer.
Paulette was born on February 18, 1962 in Aultman Hospital, Canton, Ohio and was a long time resident in Stark County before moving to Portland, Oregon in 2004. She is the daughter of Glen Beasley and Enna Harvey. She leaves her mother, spouse Linda Bradshaw, step daughter Erin Bradshaw, brothers Terry Beasley and Robert Harvey Junior, sisters Debbie Haubert, and Bobbie Jo Simon as well as several nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her father Glen Beasley,
Brother Gary Beasley and nephew Christopher Harvey.
Paulette graduated from Glen Oak High School in 1977 and later obtained her B.A. from Bowling Green State University. She was an advocate of social justice and was employed by Quest Prevention and Recovery Services in Canton and then, after moving to Portland, Oregon, at Central City Concern.
Paulette loved her family with all her heart. She was an avid gardener, and created a beautiful landscaped home. She was famous in her circle of family and friends for her baking, especially cookies and cheesecakes. She was a vibrant sparkling and loving personality, whose infectious laughter could be heard in her homes and work places. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten by her friends and family. Rest in peace, dear Paulette.
Service will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home with Pastor Amy Downard officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Friday from 5-7 p.m.
