Phyllis A. Slusser

July 17, 1934 — August 1, 2021

Phyllis A. Slusser, age 87, died Sunday. She was born in Marietta and lived in Canton since 1941, 1952 graduate of Lincoln High School and a member of the Canton Garden Club which she was a past president, the Order of The Silver Trefoil, Girl Scouts of America, Independent Order of the Foresters and Dueber United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, C. Gene Slusser, and brother, Zern C. Terril Jr. Survived by her children, Tina Slusser Ley of Canton and Terril A. Slusser of Honolulu, Hawaii, granddaughter, Stacy (Jeffrey) Warden of North Canton, great-granddaughter, Gracie Warden and nieces, Linda Martell of Kent and Jane E. Boone of Akron. Services are private with burial in Sunset Hills Burial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canton Garden Center.
