Reba Keith Moegling passed away peacefully on November 28th at the age of 98. She was born on June 13th, 1923. She was the wife of the late Frank A. Moegling, Jr. for 55 years until his death in 1997.
Reba was a lifelong resident of North Canton, a member of St. Paul's Church and a former member of
St. Paul's Altar Society. At a football game at Faucet Stadium, located where the Football Hall of Fame stands now, Reba met the love of her life, Frank. Together they raised four children, built a home, traveled every chance they had and in her words "lived a good life".
Reba was first and foremost a mother and homemaker and had an unwavering insistence that family and children come first. She worked hard and supported her husband and children in every way she could. While raising her family, she worked at Hummel's IGA for 15 years, for the Hoover Company and at W.T. Grant where she managed the Toy Department for many years. She was thoughtful, energetic, feisty, and spirited throughout her life and was always willing to help others. When she retired, she and her husband often took time to care for friends and neighbors who were unable to do for themselves.
Reba's greatest accomplishment was her family. She was enormously proud of each and every one of them. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and always wanted them to have the best things possible. She loved being together no matter where it happened. Reba and Frank taught their children honesty, integrity, trustworthiness, responsibility and fairness in no uncertain terms and they lived by what they taught.
She is survived by her daughter, Shirley of Newport RI, her daughter Marti of Canton, Ohio and her son, Daniel (Paula) of Prince George, VA . She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Jr., her parents, Isaac Keith and Viola (Weaver) Keith, by and her son, Frank III, her brother Robert, her brother Irvin and her sister, Elva.
