RENEE ANN KESSLER

On June 6, 2023, Renee Ann Kessler passed away with her loving family by her side. She was 54. She was born to her late parents, Reeves and Alice (Shipp) Cooper, in Akron, Ohio, on August 22, 1968.

As a devout Catholic, Renee knew the importance to love above all else. She believed whole heartedly, in practicing charity for those less fortunate and having understanding and compassion for one another. Without hesitation, she always put others before herself.

She was a 1990 graduate of the University of Akron, a member of St. Paul Catholic Church serving as Development Director, a CCD Teacher, and enjoyed her 3rd graders.

Renee will be missed beyond words by those who survive; her husband of 31 years, Greg Kessler of North Canton; daughters, Emily (Travis) Sams of Kent, Grace Kessler of North Canton; son, Andrew Kessler of North Canton; sister, Dianne (Lou) Vassalotti of Texas; brother, Todd (Jennifer) Cooper of South Carolina; and those whose lives she touched with her smile, words, love, and faith.

Visitation for family and friends will be held, Monday, June 12, 2023 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, Lamiell Funeral Home, 1353 Cleveland Avenue, NW, Canton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 10:30 am, St. Paul Catholic Church, 241 S. Main Street, North Canton. Father James Clark will preside. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Akron, Ohio.
