REVEREND SCOTT J. ANDERSON

Reverend Scott J. Anderson was welcomed to his eternal home on December 3, 2024. He was born in Canton, Ohio on June 28, 1956, to his late parents, Walter and Virginia (Parks) Anderson. Also welcoming Scott to his eternal home was his wife, Charlotte Anderson.

Highly active in the religious community, Scott served as pastor for Shepherd of the Valley Church. Led by the Spirit, he was a very kindhearted and giving man. Scott was extremely intelligent, earning his master's degree in engineering and theology. He was an astronomer and worked as an aerospace engineer with Nasa before entering the seminary to begin his study in the ministry.

Scott is survived by his daughter, Catherine Anderson; son, Christian (Halle) Anderson; and grandchildren, Lydia, Sparrowe, Leonidas, and Iris.

The family will receive guests on Sunday, December 15, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Lamiell Funeral Home, 1353 Cleveland Avenue, NW, Canton, where a Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 AM. Reverend Bruce Booher will officiate.
