Richard T. Fickes, 88, died Thursday. He was a life resident of Canton, 1951 graduate of Central Catholic High School, graduate of Dayton University, retired from Revco Drugs and a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church. Preceded in death by his wife, Carrie Fickes, parents, Chester and Eileen Fickes, brother, Chester Fickes Jr. and a daughter-in-law, Marlene Fickes. He is survived by his daughters, Suzanne (Chris) Keim, Marjory (Scott) Keim, Janet (Dean) Zimmerman and Marilyn (Jim) Edwards, son Thomas Fickes, 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Pat Fickes. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Saint Joseph Catholic Church with Msgr. Frank Carfagna as celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home.
