Richard A. Fiigen

Richard A. Fiigen, age 60, was born in Puerto Rico, raised in New Hampshire and resided in North Canton. Passed away on June 28, 2017 in Canton, Ohio at the Aultman Compassionate Care Center surrounded by his friends. Richard was preceded in death by his father, William and mother, Mildred and brother, Bruce Fiigen. Richard was employed by General Tire and General Motors for most of his career, before retiring to take care of his mother. He enjoyed golfing, playing poker on the weekends, conversation with good friends and spending time with his dogs, Zoey and Jake. We would like to thank the staff at the Aultman Compassionate Care Center for all the good care they gave Richard. We would also like to thank Steve Fairhurst, for introducing Richard into our lives that has brought lifelong friendships. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 8th at 11 a.m. at the Danbury Assisted Living, 181 Applegrove Street, NW, North Canton, Ohio 44720, Contributions may be made to the charity of your choice in his name.
