Richard Lane

RICHARD L. LANE, Age 72, of Minerva, passed away Thur. April 5, 2018. Born in Canton, a son of the late Robert and Dorothy (Lhota) Lane II, he had been a life resident of Canton. He was a 1962 graduate of Central Catholic High School, served with the U.S. Navy, and a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Minerva. Richard was a former employee of White Engines and Firestone Rubber Co. He is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Scott and Kristen (Kettering) Lane, Erich and Aparna (Korwar) Lane, and Ryan and Kathy (Sokolak) Lane; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Mary Helen Birch, and Catherine and Daniel Grossi; three brothers, Robert and Debra Lane III, Charles and Julia Lane and David Lane; and nine grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wed. at 12 noon in St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Minerva with Fr. Victor Cinson as Celebrant. Interment in St. John's Cemetery in Canton.
