Richard J. "Dick" Ungashick, age 84, died Sunday. He was a life resident of Canton, 1951 graduate of Lincoln High School and a retired home remodeler. Richard was a member of Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Catholic Order of Foresters (75 Year Member) and several bowling leagues including Budweiser Rolando's Senior Traveling League which he was a former secretary treasurer. He was a Korean War Air Force veteran. Survived by his wife of 63 years, Madonna (Maurer) Ungashick, daughters, Jean (Jeff) Baker and Jane Ungashick all of Canton and Susan Mullikin of North Canton, son, Clint (Edith) Ungashick of Phoenix, Arizona, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a brother and sisters-in-law, William and Eleanor Ungashick and Ann Franzen all of North Canton. Preceded in death by a daughter, Betsy, granddaughter, Ann Marie Mullikin, parents, Walter and Ella Ungashick, sister, Rose Klinger and brother, Walter Ungashick. Friends may call Thursday from 9-10 a.m. at Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. with Father Scott Kopp as celebrant. Private burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
