Richard Scott Zastudil, 58, of Jackson Twp/N. Canton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2026.

Born on October 2, 1967, in Canton, Ohio, Richard was the son of Richard F. Zastudil and Sharon J. (Slusser) Zastudil .

Scott spent most of his employment year as a custodian for Kent State, Paw Paw in MI, St. Lukes & Jackson Schools.

He spent his life pursuing his creative passions for decorating and was a talented faux finisher whose craftsmanship and artistic eye were admired by those who knew him.

Richard had a deep appreciation for architecture, art, and drawing. He found joy in creativity and design, and he especially enjoyed building with Legos, a hobby that reflected both his imagination and attention to detail. He is survived by his loving mother, Sharon Zastudil; father, Richard Zastudil, his sister, Tiffany Davis; his niece, Amberly Neice and his beloved Bubala (Daisy).

There will be no visitation or services at this time. A gathering in honor of Scott will be announced a later date.
