ROBERT "Bob" C. KITSON

Robert "Bob" C. Kitson, 88, of Canton, Ohio, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on July 31, 2023. He was born on February 8, 1935 in Canton, Ohio, to Charles and Grace (Bergert) Kitson, who preceded him in death.

Bob's memory will forever be cherished by those who survive; his wife, Sally Ziegler Kitson; son, Doug Kitson; daughter, Linda (Vince) Pacilio; stepson, Stephen (Tammy) Lamiell; grandchildren, Sam Kitson, Charlie Pacilio, Sydnie Kitson, Paul (Kaitlyn) Lamiell, Kelly, Kristine, Justin, Andrew, and Ethan Lamiell; sister, Mary (Lew) Gordon.

Bob was a very well-known and successful builder and developer of Kitson Builders, Inc. He proudly served in the United States Navy, was a member of Lathrop Lodge #676 F.M. and A.M., Scottish Rite Valley of Canton, AAONMS Tadmor Temple in Akron, and was the former director of the Akron Court #80 ROJ. He was devoted to his family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Sunday, August 6, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, Lamiell Funeral Home, Canton. A Masonic Service will take place at 3:45 PM. The service for Bob will be held on Monday, August 7, 2023 at 11:00 AM, at the Lamiell Funeral Home with Pastor Stan Sawyer officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens, Everhard Road, Canton.
