Robert D. Powell

Robert D. "Bob" Powell, age 69 of Uniontown, OH passed away on Friday, December 10th 2021. He was born in Toledo, OH on November 6th 1952. Bob was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Shortly after graduating from DeVilbiss High School, he began working for Champion Spark Plug, followed by many years with New Mather Metals. After retiring, he and his wife moved to be closer to children and grandchildren. He enjoyed many sports and activities such as golf, bowling and volleyball, but his passion was traveling with his beloved wife and being surrounded by his children and grandchildren. Bob is survived by his adoring wife, Judy (Jensen) Powell; his children Scott (Tracy) Powell, Megan (Gill) Donahue; stepsons Tim (Kelly Jo) and Sean O'Brien; his sisters, Kathy (Jim) Baker, Claudia (Tom) Wojciechowski, and brothers Mark (Cindy) Powell and Lyle (Sarah) Short; grandchildren Andrew, Jacob, Emma, Luke, Addison, Bryce, Jake, John, Grace, Anna Kate, Lydia and Logan; great grandchildren Kaiden and Micah. He is preceded in death by his mother Barbara Short; brothers Richard and David. Friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home with a service on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. with The Rev. Dr. Bruce R. Roth officiating.
