Robert J Welsh

Robert J. Welsh, age 86, died Sunday, January 24, 2021. He had lived in Canton, Massillon and Florida moving back to Canton in 2015. Robert was a 1952 graduate of Central Catholic High School, graduate of Kent State University a retired teacher and organist and a U.S. Army veteran. Survived by his sister, Cecelia Boylan, brother, Patrick Welsh, close friends, Cindy Friley and Shirley Flynn and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Frances Welsh, sisters, Mary Ann Schiffer and Theresa Film and a brother, Tony Welsh. Private burial was in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Basilica of Saint John the Baptist.
