Ronald Paul Obermiller

Ronald Paul Obermiller, age 63, of North Canton, passed away on May 21, 2026. He was born on October 6, 1962, in Canton, Ohio to his late parents, Richard and Gail (Turner) Obermiller.

A devoted mechanic by trade, he was known for his strong work ethic, his willingness to help anyone in need, and his natural talent as a handyman. Whether fixing an engine or lending a hand around the house, he approached everything with care and dedication.

Known by many—especially in the towing industry—he built a reputation for showing up when people needed him most. His honesty and willingness to help made him a trusted friend on and off the road.

He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life—watching baseball, attending truck and tractor pulls, and spending time with the people he loved. His kindness, steady presence, and hardworking spirit will be deeply missed.

Ronald is survived by his sons, Brandon (Makenna) Obermiller and Ryan Obermiller, of whom he was immensely proud of; his sister, Kim (Brad) Sothard, who shared a lifetime of memories with him; and his brother, Bob (Maria) Obermiller, whose support and loyalty meant more to Ronald than words could say. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him, and by the many people whose lives he touched along the way.

Family and friends may call on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Lamielle Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Pastor Happy Peterson will officiate. Burial will take place at Sunset Hills Burial Park, Canton.
