Rosalind T. Murdock

Rosalind T. Murdock, age 67, passed away unexpectedly with her family by her side on June 11th, 2026. A devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, she will be remembered for her loving spirit, her creativity, and the selfless way she put others before herself throughout her life.

She worked for many years as a talented nail technician, with a strong work ethic and genuine care for her clients. Outside of work, she found joy in traveling with her favorite companion Baylee, crocheting, sewing, and crafting—always creating something amazing and sharing it generously with those she loved. She was an all around wonderful person, whose kindness touched many.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred O. Hunt and Linda R. Smith; her son, Jason Murdock; and brothers, Allen Hunt, Leroy Hunt, and Sean Hunt.

She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer McCann and Kara (Nicholas) Hoffman both of North Canton; grandchildren, Tyler Murdock, Austin Armentrout, Preston Steiner, Ella Kolopus, Jaden Murdock, Zachary Hoffman, Savannah Sommers, Sage Sommers, and Danika Sommers; sister, Tina Lightbody; and brother, Randy Hawley. She also leaves behind extended family members and many dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 17th, 2026, from 4:00-6:00pm at Lamiell Funeral Home, Canton, with a service to follow at 6:00pm.

Her family takes comfort in knowing that her love, generosity, and gentle heart will continue to live on in all of those she touched.
