Sandra Kane

Sandra L. Kane

Age 76, of Canton, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2022. She was born Oct. 13, 1946 in Canton, a daughter of the late Alex and Mary (Fonte) Garcia, Sr., and was a life resident of this area. Sandra was a 1964 graduate of Lehman High School and a 1968 graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. She was teacher at St. John's Elementary in Canton and St. Joseph's Elementary in Dover. Sandra was a member of the Basilica of St. John's the Baptist.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael J. Kane, Sr. Surviving is her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Michelle Kane II, two grandsons, Joseph and James, a sister and brother, Barbara (Jon) Baker, and Alex (Nancy) Garcia, Jr.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wed., Nov. 23, 2022, at 11 a.m. in the Basilica of St. John's the Baptist with The Very Reverend John E. Sheridan, STL-Rector as Celebrant. There are no calling hours. Interment will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
