Scott Glen Sponseller passed away on May 17, 2025, at the age of 61, after a brief bout with cancer. He was born in Canton, Ohio on April 8, 1964, where he remained a lifelong resident. He was preceded in death by his father, Norman Sponseller; mother, Nancy Rogers and stepfather, Charles Rogers.
   
  
Scott was employed as a Superintendent of Water Distribution for the City of Cleveland Water Department. Scott will be remembered for his vibrant spirit, speaking his mind, and living life to the fullest. He liked to hunt, enjoyed NASCAR, football, traveling, Oktoberfest, and German beer. He enjoyed golf and bowling. Scott was a member of VFW, lifetime member of NRA, life member of the Masonic Canton Lodge 60 32nd degree, and member of The German Family Society of Akron.
   
  
He is survived by his stepmother, Daryl Sponseller; sister Vickie Sponseller; brother, Steven Sponseller; several stepbrothers and stepsister; and lifelong companion Virginia Login.
   
  
A Memorial Gathering will be held at Lamiell Funeral Home, 1353 Cleveland Avenue, NW, Canton on Friday, May 23, 2025, from 3:00-4:00 PM to celebrate a life well lived.
