Sharron Lee Harper, age 75, born August 31st, 1948, to Edward Sr. & Lillie M. (Anders) Johnson, in Canton, Oh. Sharron departed this life March 6, 2024, after a brief but fierce battle with brain cancer.
   
  
Sharron accepted Jesus Christ at a very early age. She sang in the Sunshine Band, Shiloh Baptist Church Choir, Peoples Baptist Church Jubilee and Mass Choirs, Cherry Avenue Christian Church Choir and 100 Women in White Choir, along with singing in Lathrop Elementary and McKinley High School glee clubs, and was accepted to sing with the Canton Symphony Orchestra.
   
  
Sharron loved her Faith United Christian Church family, where she held several positions as church choir director, children's choir director, church board secretary, choir secretary, CWF and kitchen helper.
   
  
Sharron was a 1967 graduate of McKinley High School. Between the years of 1967 and 1971 Sharron continued with singing and started modeling for the Jane Skinner Modeling Academy and Mr. Willie Paul Milan. After a car accident she started working for the city of Canton before moving on to CETA affiliated government positions, settling with the state of Ohio Unemployment Office, from where she retired.
   
  
Sharron was preceded in death by her father, Edward Sr.,; brothers, Harry Cavitt Jr.,, Edward Jr., and niece, Cynthia L. Bradley. Left to cherish her memory, mother, Lillie M. Johnson; son, D'Andrea' L. Harper III; sister, Anita L. Earley; brother, Byron C. (Yolanda) Johnson; grandchildren, Andrea N. Harper, D'Andrea' L. Harper IV, Gionna Feaster; sister's-in-law, Flora Cavitt and Sylvia Johnson, along with several nieces, nephews and friends.
