Steve T. Whitehouse

Steve T. Whitehouse, age 62, died Wednesday after a brief illness. He was a life resident of Canton, 1972 graduate of Lehman High School and retired from the City of Canton. Steve was a member of the Basilica of Saint John the Baptist and enjoyed gardening, motorsports and being with his family at Lac Kipawa in Quebec, Canada. Survived by his wife, Theresa (Brewer) Whitehouse, daughters and sons-in-law, Dr. Emily Whitehouse and Joel Gunderson and Denise and Dave Silovich, son and daughter-in-law, Curtis and Erica Whitehouse, grandchildren, Hadley and Oliver Silovich, father, Thomas E. Whitehouse, sisters and brothers-in-law, Nadine and Greg Shadle, Gail and Dan Shadle, Tammy and Ken Shimko and Lisa and Tim Horner and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his granddaughter, Finley Silovich and mother, Mary Ellen Whitehouse. Family and friends will meet for a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday at 12 Noon at the Basilica of Saint John the Baptist with Very Reverend John E. Sheridan, STL, Rector as celebrant. Friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home.
