Sue Briggs

Sue Briggs, age 83, died Wednesday. Born in Ashtabula, she had lived in the Hartville/Uniontown area since 1973. Sue had been a preschool aide at RiverTree Daycare and was a member of Grace United Church of Christ (Uniontown). Preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Briggs and son, David Briggs. Survived by her daughter, Leanne Briggs, sons, Michael (Debbie) Briggs and Tim (Jody) Briggs, grandchildren, Craig, Mitchell, David and Chris Briggs, Cayley (Karissa) Brierson and Marissa (Jon) Crank, great-granddaughter, Onnah, brother, Jim (Nancy) Welton and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Saturday from 9:30-11 a.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home followed by a service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Gary Smith officiating. Burial will be in Uniontown Greenlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
