Susan A. Draiss

Susan A. Draiss, age 53, died Saturday after a brief illness. She was a life resident of Canton, graduate of Southgate and had worked at Whipple Dale. Susan was a member of the Basilica of Saint John the Baptist and a former member of The Sounds of Silence. Survived by her sisters, Peggy (Thomas) Paumier of Minerva and Mary Jane, Dorothy and Judy Draiss all of Canton, brothers, David, Steve and Bill Draiss all of Canton, niece, Regina (Mike) Domenick, nephews, Kevin (Erika), Matt (Stephanie), Adam and Robert (Rhia) Draiss and five great-nieces and three great-nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Betty Draiss and sister-in-law, Linda Draiss. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Basilica of Saint John the Baptist with The Very Reverend John Sheridan, STL-Rector as celebrant. Burial will be in Saint John Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 5-8 pm at the Lamiell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
