Sylvia M. Yeater

Sylvia M. Yeater, age 75, died Friday after a one year illness. Born in Plymouth, Pennsylvania, she had lived in Canton most of her life and was retired from Ohio Bell. Sylvia was a member of the Basilica of Saint John the Baptist, St. John Guild (Past-President) and the Walsh Women's Committee. Survived by her husband of 43 years, Wayne R. Yeater of the home, daughter, Stacy (Emmett) Driskell, granddaughter, Emma Driskell all of Limerick, Pennsylvania and sister, Regina Hall of Wilmington, Delaware. Friends may call Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Basilica of Saint John the Baptist with the Very Reverend John Sheridan, STL-Rector as celebrant. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Basilica of Saint John the Baptist.
