Teresa Thomas

Teresa Anne Thomas Passed away April 26, 2018, after a long illness. She was born on October 1, 1964, to Roy and June Mossor Thomas. She was the ninth of 10 children and the youngest daughter She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved brothers, Dennis and Brian. She is survived by her son Timothy B. Thomas, sisters Mary Thomas (Mike), Barbara Thomas, Nancy Thomas, Susie Minger (Phil), Margie O'Neill (Bill), Gina Thomas and a brother, Michael Thomas (Valery). She is also survived by her long time companion Joseph Kopache and her fur babies Tuxie and Oliver. She had many nieces, nephews and cousins who she loved with all her heart. She graduated from Washington High School in Massillon and earned an associate's degree in Information Technology from Stark State. Before she became disabled, she worked for Stark County Jobs and Family Services and the Summit County Area Agency on Aging. She proudly served a term as the President of the Akron Women's City Club. She loved spending time with her family and had a wide circle of friends in her hometown and on Facebook. She was a loving and nurturing mother, sister, and friend with the hugest of hearts. A Memorial Service will be held Wed. at 11 a.m. in Lamiell Funeral Home. Friends may call one hour before the service.. Internment int North Lawn Cemetery.
