Thelma L. (Volzer) Anderson

April 25, 1925 — May 5, 2016

Thelma L. (Volzer) Anderson, age 91, died Thursday. She was a life resident of Canton, graduate of Lincoln High School and a member of the Basilica of Saint John the Baptist. Her passions in life were her family and baking. Survived by her husband of 68 years, Philip J. Anderson, daughters, Ann Marie (Larry) McLaughlin of Canton, Coletta Anderson of Phoenix, Arizona and Joan (Shannon) Rine of Kettering, sons, Jim (Tynne) Anderson and Dennis Anderson of Canton, 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a sister, Dorothy Domenico of North Canton. Preceded in death by her sisters, Gertrude Moser, Sister Virginia Volzer CSJ, Elizabeth Bazzo and Martha Bittner and a brother, Norman Volzer. Services are private with burial will be in Saint John Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Basilica of Saint John the Baptist or the American Cancer Society.
