Thomas Hayton Butler

Tom Butler, 89, of Canton, passed away. He was born in Marion, Illinois, to William and Mildred Butler. He was a veteran who served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He was an engineer for the city of Akron for thirty years and retired in 1977. In addition to his parents, Tom is preceded in death by his brother Warren. He loved spending his time watching golf channel and rooting for the Cleveland Indians while cataloging his coin collection. Papa was a dedicated father to Debbie, Barb, Jerry, Kenny, Tammy, Tari, Tracy, Jamie, and Marty; grandfather to Rick, Jennifer, Amy, Brad, Travis, David, Tiffiny, Amanda, Cory, Josh, Jordan, Tyler, Kyle, J.T., Madisen, Taylor, and Karley; and great-grandfather.
