Thomas Vaughn

Thomas Vaughn, age 85, died April 29th. He worked at Diebold's most of his life and was a United States Army and Navy veteran. Survived by his wife, Ina Mae (Forbes) Vaughn, daughters, Lisa Abraham, Kimberly Appleman, Stephanie Vaughn and Cynthia Vaughn, special son-in-law, Jim Appleman, grandchildren, Hilary, Rick, Kelli, R.J. and others, special great-granddaughters, Paisley and Elliott Jane. Preceded in death by his first wife, Dolores (Silverthorn) Vaughn, parents, daughters, Theresa Vaughn and Michele Meade, son, Thomas "Gus" Vaughn Jr. and great-grandson, Thomas Lewers. The family would like to thank the staffs of Meadow Wind Health Care Center and Great Lakes Hospice for their care. Tom was a good husband and father. Always did everything he could for his seven children. He is resting peacefully in Heaven. Be free Pop we'll miss you. Friends may call Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home.
