Timothy Geraghty

On Thursday, April 23, Timothy Geraghty, loving husband, father, brother, uncle and grandfather, passed away after a long, courageous fight with multiple myeloma at the age of 64. Tim was born on September 3, 1955 in Canton, Ohio to the late George "Flash" and Marjorie (Crowther) Geraghty. On March 24, 1979, he married Ginny Louis. Together, they raised three children. In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Ginny, sons Sean (Carla), and Rory (Tiffani), daughter Kara (Karthik), grandchildren Arterina, Maverick and Miles, brothers Patrick and Fred and his special nieces Penny (Manny Prevolis), RaChelle (Scott Riddle) and Amy Dolph. In addition to his relatives, Tim was a beloved father figure for many other close friends and family. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Noman Rafique and the entire staff at Tri-County Hematology & Oncology, Dr. Pramod Bhargava and all of the doctors and nurses at Mercy Medical Center for their wonderful care. Services are private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family c/o Lamiell Funeral Home to defray medical and funeral expenses.
