Walter "Butch" David Morrell, Jr.

Walter "Butch" David Morrell Jr., age 66, of North Canton passed Friday in his home surrounded by his family after an unfortunate battle with Liposarcoma. He was a life resident of North Canton, a 1970 graduate from Hoover High School, US Army Veteran and THE BEST construction / do everything guy in Stark County. Butch is survived by his wife of 45 years, Maureen, daughters, Angela (Brian) Abbey and Tiffany Morrell (Kobe), granddaughters Alexis Morrell and Cameron Abbey, grandson Ezra Bannerman all of North Canton, mother Virginia Morrell, sister Kathy Dobler of Macedonia and all of the 'Best' Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends you can imagine. He was proceeded in death by his father, Walter D. Morrell Sr. Butch was an avid Hunter, Boater, Runner, Fitness Enthusiast and overall lover of life! Butch is loved beyond belief and touched the heart of everyone who ever met him. Family and friends will meet on Wednesday at 12 Noon at Christ the Servant Parish for a Mass of Christian Burial with Monsignor Lewis Gaetano as celebrant. Friends may call Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family for a future memorial in Butch's honor.
