WILLIAM G. LEVERING

William G. "Bill" Levering of Malvern, Ohio passed away November 13, 2023, at Regency Oaks Center in Clearwater, Florida. He was born to Albert and Helen (Chapman) Levering on March 16, 1933 in Canton, Ohio where he was raised with his two sisters and spent most of his adult life.

Preceding Bill in death were his parents; wife, Mary Jane Levering in 2014; daughter, Kathi Levering; and sisters, Barb Benfield and Mary Hon. He leaves behind his daughter, Kelly (Dan) Pennell of Clearwater, Florida and sons, David (Brenda) Levering of Canton and James (Mary Jo) Levering of Malvern. Bill was blessed with eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

A devoted Christian man to his family and church, he led by example in his word, faith, and daily journey. He enjoyed stained glass projects and retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Lamiell Funeral Home, 1353 Cleveland Avenue, NW, Canton, followed at 1:00 PM with funeral services. Reverend Jim Henniger will be officiating. Interment will take place at Forest Hill Cemetery, Canton.
