William J. Moore, Jr.

William J. Moore Jr, age 84, passed away Wednesday surrounded by his family. Born in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, he had lived in North Canton since 1979. William was a retired successful businessman and a Korean War Army Veteran. Preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth "Betty Jo" Moore and a sister. Dorothy Hineman. Survived by a daughter, Linda (David) Evanoff of Canton, sons, James Moore of Canton and William M. Moore of North Canton, grandchildren, Krystal Miller, Brian Moore and Taylor and Shelby Barnes and brother, Gary (Janis) Moore of Mechanicstown. Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the Lamiell Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Smith officiating. Burial will be in North Canton Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 1-2 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
