WILLLIAM C. "BILL" ORANGE

William C. "Bill" Orange of Hartville, Ohio, passed away after a short illness on October 18, 2024. He will forever be missed as the most beloved husband, father, and grandfather.

Bill was born in Canton, Ohio on September 13, 1932, to the late Nick and Barbara Orange. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Iris Orange; children, Christopher Orange (Kristina) and Jennifer Orange; grandchildren, Alexandra and Julianna; sisters, Dorothy Skaskiw and Violet Proach; and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nick and Barbara; sister, Julia; as well as other loved ones.

Bill loved his family more than anything else. Although he fought very hard not to leave us, it was time for God to bring him home. Bill's love for the simple things in life; his favorite foods, working in his yard, Indians baseball in his recliner, his love of going to Mass, and the occasional scratch-off-ticket, were what brought him contentment. His kind and compassionate heart and spirit, giving nature, humbleness, quick wit, and strong work ethic, will be a part of the cherished memories we hold deeply forever in our hearts. It's not goodbye, it's just till we see you again.

Family and friends are invited for visitation on Thursday, October 24, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Little Flower Catholic Parish, 2040 Diamond Street, NW, Canton, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am. Father Daniel Finnerty will serve as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Massillon.
