Yonda C. (Hoovler) Boron, age 88, passed away Thursday, December 10. Born in Apple Creek, she lived most of her life in the North Canton area. She was a graduate of North Canton High School, retired from General Tire and Rubber and was a member of Saint Paul Catholic Church (North Canton). Preceded in death by her husband, Paul W. "Duke" Boron, son Bret Boron, parents Harold and Grace (Purcell) Hoovler, sisters Nanette Guiher and Barbara Hoovler, and brother Harold Hoovler. Survived by sister Helen Bland of North Carolina, daughters Barbara (Marty) Nicholas of Jackson Township and Paula (Rich) Mitchell of Cincinnati, grandchildren Lauren (Sam) Winkler, Brett (McLean) Parr, Paige Parr, Eve Nicholas, great-grandchildren Will and Sullivan Winkler, and dear family friend Cathy Beckley. Yonda and Paul loved their yearly travel to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Yonda enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing cards, and lived by her favorite quote "age is just a number…it's how you treat it." Private Services will be held. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery.
